today i'm loving: trippy bedding by bless

Aren't these sheets by Bless just a trip?

They don't come cheap ($695 for the queen set at CITE!) but they're so cool I had to post. I think it would be totally weird to sleep in the "couple" sheets. I'd feel like I was invading their privacy!

jersey shore

If you were previously living blissfully unaware of this show, I apologize for unleashing this on you. But if I'm gonna go down, I'm gonna take people with me. Jersey Shore just cracks me up! Between the guy who calls himself "The Situation" to "Snooki" whose dream in life is to marry a guido, I am hopelessly addicted to this show.

This show is blowing up! "The Situation" and "Snooki" have even been on Conan O'Brien. "The Situation" gave Conan his very own Jersey shore nickname, which he was thrilled about. Check it out:

Want to get your own Jersey Shore nickname? Click here. I will henceforth be known on the Jersey Shore as Celine "The Opportunity" Novenario. Sweet.

Again, I'm very sorry for involving you good people in this ...

today i'm loving: surreal tableware by marianne van ooij

I'm so getting a kick out of these plates, cups and saucers designed by Marianne van Ooij. The dinner plates are dubbed "Dressed for Dinner" and feature extremely realistic looking sleeves draped over the china. Also loving the coffee cups with sugar cubes attached to the outside and inside. Fun touches that make meal- and coffeetime a tad more fun.

how to ... dress up for a hike

Images via Teen Vogue

Ok I'm not being serious here. I'm fully aware that these outfits above are completely unsuitable for a hike. I just think that these silhouettes and layering techniques are good ideas for how to make dressing up for a winter hike a wee bit more interesting. My friend Zoe called me today with plans to go on a weekend trip to Pennsylvania and mentioned the possibility of hiking in the snow. I am resigned to the idea that I may have to purchase sturdy Timberlands, but wanted some ideas on how to make the outfit just a tiny bit cuter. Definitely into the plaid and big fur hat. Liking the anorak. Will probably wear some version of the chunky gray leggings above that are scrunched up just above the boot. Definitely considering the fluffy socks over the leggings as well.

I apologize to any hardcore hikers who are reading this for my silliness, but I'm not the most outdoorsy person and I need the fashion to get me psyched up for all the exertion! I hope that with a little foresight, I too can pull off a cute hiking outfit ...

today i'm loving: vogue's shop the issue

If you've ever been frustrated about cracking open your favorite magazine, falling in love with something, and for the life of you never finding the damn thing in any store, then you'll like this. Vogue has partnered up with online sample sale site Gilt Groupe for Vogue's Shop the Issue. They're selling items found in Vogue's "Steal of the Month" section, such as the See by Chloé safari shirt (see below, top left) featured in their January issue. This being Vogue though, their definition of a steal is something below $500. There are a few cheaper items, like the J. Crew fedora hat for $40 and a Three Dots tie-dye shirt for $72. I just like looking at the very Vogue-esque images with models in mid-air.
