I am love-love-LOVING the blacked out eyes seen on the Roberto Cavalli Spring '09. So sexy. Style.com gives a step-by-step tutorial on achieving the look the Pat McGrath way, which involves layers of black eyeliner, black cream shadow, black shadow and lots of black volumizing mascara, of course. I'd feel compelled to try it had I not spied a cheat sheet on one of my favorite blogs, That's Chic. Raych's version involves black liner and lip balm, which ups my chances of succeeding considerably. We'll see how it goes ...

Love it, but I always end up looking like a raccoon. Or I had a rough night and forgot to wash my make-up off.
But the lip balm and black liner, I might be able to do...
Haha I know I haven't tried it but hoping it'll turn out well! With my little Asian eyes I might end up looking more like someone socked me in the eye!
Good luck and let me know how it goes :-)
Hi Cel, love your blog, been reading it for quite some time now. Happy holidays! :) - joy cataps
Thanks Joy! Happy to entertain y'all with my blabber hahaha! Happy holidays! Eat some extra lechon for me ;-)
Hi all - MAC's ShadeStick in "Shark Skin" works WONDERS on eye looks like this. Maybe instead of the lip balm. :) I use the ShadeStick color "Beijing" (it's beige) for lighter based looks. Yaaaaaaaaaaay MAC! oxxo Zoë
