I missed the bus today and had to walk 20 blocks down Second Avenue to get to work. It's not such a bad walk and I actually like doing it most of the time. But today I was a little late and a little tired, and it would have been quite nice to have gotten a ride. Or, it would have been a tad more pleasurable to walk if I were wearing this:
I'm smitten with Cole Haan's Air Reina Boot. Cole Haan has been designing shoes that incorporate Nike's "Air" technology for some time now, but I've never seen such a gorgeous boot from the line. I love the sleekness of the patent leather, and how it's not really obvious that the boot is a Cole Haan-Nike Air hybrid. Macy's has this shoe on sale right now for $187.50—down from its original price of $375. I'm out of luck though because the only size remaining is a 5, and it seems near impossible to find elsewhere in my size, which is a 5.5. *sigh*
