Word for the day: inchoate

Pronunciation: \in-ˈkō-ət, ˈin-kə-ˌwāt\
: being only partly in existence or operation : incipient ; especially : imperfectly formed or formulated : formless , incoherent

(from the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary)

Sorry for the dorky post, but I just love learning new words. Snagged this one from a New York Times review of "Two Lovers", where Joaquin Phoenix plays Leonard, “a young man in outer-borough New York caught between an inchoate desire for freedom and the constricting demands of family, neighborhood and kind.” I love the word.
Ok that's all.
