If I didn't have a man's taste and a steady stream of Manhattan visitors to consider, I'd totally get this Antoinette Fainting Sofa from Urban Outfitters ($575) for my living room. I love damask (can ya tell?). But since I live in a city where sofabeds are practically prerequisites for apartment living, I'll have to do without.

If you can, damask a feature wall, with tone on tone paint - the damask in glossy and the background in matte...looks awesome if it's a rich chocolate color......
ooooh ... sounds great. I don't know how Mika would feel about me damasking an entire wall though ... I remember seeing a bathroom at a photographer's studio in Chelsea and he had this silver backed damask wallpaper up. It was amazing. But I'm afraid it'll be too girly? The man has decorating opinions, unfortunately. Tsk tsk ...
