Awesome New Show Alert!

I caught 90210 today. Wish I hadn't. I have never been so unresponsive to a show. I want my hour back.

But then it was followed by Privileged. This I like! When I first saw the trailer, I thought it was just a Gossip Girl ripoff. But I was pleasantly surprised—there's actually a story here! Megan is this 23-year-old Yale Grad who gets fired from her job at a tabloid rag and ends up as the tutor for these two Palm Beach cosmetics heiresses. It's like Gossip Girl meets The Devil Wears Prada meets The Nanny meets ... a lot of other shows I'm sure. But I fell in love with the Megan character within the first 4 lines of dialogue. Witty, funny writing here—none of the canned, almost soap opera-esque crap they spew on 90210. Privileged, I will keep watching!
